Life comes with a fair share of ups and downs that can sometimes leave you feeling unsteady and maybe even lost. Often these internal struggles manifest in difficulties that seem too painful to speak out loud.
Believing that humans have the capacity for meaningful growth, Kathryn adopts a person-centred approach to support safe and non-judgemental exploration in her therapeutic work with clients. From a foundation of acceptance, she supports the development of value-based therapeutic goals using evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) principles and skills, and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) for parenting support.
It takes a lot to reach out. Whether you are looking for support with working through painful emotions, finding fulfilment, improving relationships with those you care about, Kathryn is currently working with adult clients for individual counselling.
